The 2005-current Toyota Tacomas and 07-current Tundras have an additional bracket (see below photos) that cross over the hitch receiver holes and secure into the step bumper holes above.  This bracket is an additional 4mm thick and requires an optional longer HitchSafe pin which are now available.   Go here to order or you can also order them.

The HitchSafe works with all other vehicle makes and models including all years of the Toyota Tundra prior to 2007 and all the Toyota Tacoma models prior to 2005.
